Our Story
BUILT HERE.
MATAGORDA, TEXAS.
Origin
It started with a truck and a surfboard.
Wild House grew out of a simple problem: there wasn't a vehicle built for the way we live out here. Something that could haul boards to the beach at dawn, run a ranch road by noon, and look right doing both.
So we built one. Then another. Word got out. Now we do this full time — a handful of builds a year, each one made for a specific person and a specific life.
The Builders
TWO MINDS. ONE STANDARD.
Wild House is the product of two people who've spent their lives building things — and who refuse to do it any other way.
Builder
He's built an oil company, a real estate operation, an adventure company, a machine shop, and several ranches. The common thread isn't the industry — it's the standard. Everything he touches gets built to last and built to work. Wild House is no different.
Fabricator
One hundred percent automotive. Racing, fabrication, and more than a decade running his own shop. He knows what a vehicle is capable of — and what it takes to get it there. Every build that leaves Wild House has his hands on it.
Together they opened a select few build slots for other strong, like-minded individuals who demand the same from their vehicles as they do from everything else.
Philosophy
We don't build for everyone.
Every build starts with a conversation about how you actually live. Not what looks good in a photo — what works at 5am on a dirt road with a board on the roof and mud on the tires. We take on a small number of projects each year so we can do each one right.
"If it doesn't work hard, it doesn't leave the shop."
Location
MATAGORDA, TEXAS.
We're on the Texas coast — between the Gulf and the ranch land, where the roads run long and the surf is never crowded. It's not a convenient place to build vehicles. It's the right one.
